Master Roaster

**Responsible for managing Vayhan’s roasting operations, ensuring consistent production of roasted beans and roast & ground (R&G) coffee to meet diverse B2B customer requirements. This role requires both technical expertise in roasting and grinding and a strong sensory understanding of coffee to create blends that deliver on flavour, aroma and quality expectations.**
- **Strong knowledge of coffee chemistry and roasting science Proven operational experience with Probat automatic roasters.**:

- **Proficiency in grinding, degassing and packaging processes.**:

- **Ability to design and replicate roast profiles consistently.**:

- **Expertise in cupping, sensory evaluation and barista techniques.**:

- **Capability to create and test flavoured coffee variants.**:

- **Competence in matching competitor blends (e.g., high-aroma South Indian R&G coffee).**
- **Key Responsibilities**: _
- Operate and manage automatic Probat roasters and associated equipment.
- Develop and maintain roast profiles tailored to different customer requirements (cafés, restaurants, caterers, chains, offices).
- Conduct green bean quality assessment including physical, moisture and sensory checks before roasting.
- Execute grinding and degassing processes to industry standards.
- Maintain records of roast batches, parameters and quality control data.
- Collaborate with the product development team to design custom blends (R&G and beans) for B2B clients.
- Develop and produce flavoured coffees as per market demand.
- Conduct cupping sessions and ensure alignment with desired sensory outcomes.
- Provide technical support to the business team by helping match competitor profiles (e.g., filter coffee blends, vending blends, specialty commercial profiles).
- Assist in training baristas or B2B customers on brew methods for optimal extraction.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and operational standards of roasting facility.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
