**Position
- Quality Assurance & Control**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS), typically **ISO 9001** or similar, specifically tailored for metal fabrication.
- Establish and enforce **Quality Control (QC) procedures** and inspection plans for all stages of fabrication, including raw material inspection, in-process checks (cutting, bending, welding, machining), and final product inspection.
- Conduct regular internal **quality audits** and prepare the facility for external audits.
- Manage the **Non-Conformance Report (NCR)** process, including identification, documentation, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective **Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)**.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all inspection, measuring, and test equipment.

**Inspection and Testing**
- Perform or supervise the inspection of **raw materials** (e.g., steel plates, sections, pipes) for compliance with material specifications and mill certificates.
- Verify dimensional accuracy and fit-up of components using precision measuring instruments.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, final documentation, and **Quality reports** for customer submission.

**Process Improvement**
- Collaborate with Production and Design teams to proactively address quality issues and implement **process improvements** to reduce scrap, rework, and cycle time.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**
- **Education**: Degree or Diploma in **Mechanical Engineering**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3 **years of progressive experience** as a Quality Engineer or similar role in the **metal fabrication** ( piping, general fabrication, etc.).
- **Technical Knowledge**: Deep understanding of metal fabrication processes, including **welding, cutting, forming, machining, and finishing**.
- **QMS Expertise**: Proven experience implementing and managing an **ISO 9001** or equivalent QMS.
- **Communication**: Written and verbal communication skills in **English and relevant local languages** for effective interaction with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

**CTC**: 3-4 Lakhs

**Working location**: Narhe, Pune

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
