Assembly Supervisor

**Job Description
**Purpose**
The person in this role will be responsible for a group of people. She will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in her area. She will be coordinating with the other supervisors for ensuring that production targets are met. She will also be responsible for flowing up/down relevant communication as and when required.
**Key Responsibility**
- Working skill in Laser welding, Gluing machines and Testing equipment
- Responsible for achieving set production targets with required Quality levels
- Maintaining optimum cost of operations
- Ensuring timely delivery of production output with required alignment
- Ensure safety of shop floor - Man Machine and Material
- Ensure optimum utilization of Man and Machine
- Training of operators on processes and machines
- Responsible for handling technical queries from shop floor employees
- Generate the requirements for hand tools, cutting tools, direct consumables to the Supply Chain Management(SCM) team
- Responsible for SQCDM metrics
- Maintain optimum inventory in the shop
**Qualification**
Diploma/BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engg with above 60% academic scores
**Experience**
5 to 8 years
**Additional Technical Requirements**
- 2D & 3D Drawing Reading and understanding
- Knowledge in Manufacturing and Assembly process
- Advanced knowledge in Engineering Documents and Fixturing
- Advanced in Technology platform (SAP - function specific module) and software (MS Office),
- Trained in Materials, Quality & Inspection, Special Process and Cutting Tool Knowledge
- Knowledge in SAP / Usage of transactions in SAP
