Experience**:Minimum of 5 years of teaching** (experience in a school abroad is a plus) IBDP Spanish experience preferred.

Qualification**:Master's in Spanish**

Curriculum: Cambridge IGCSE/ International baccalaureate IB - Diploma Programme mandatory.

**Position Overview**:
To maintain and deliver the curriculum. To create learning experiences that include outdoor activities and field work. To monitor student progress through effective assessment techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary license or certification for teaching Spanish, with a preference for a master’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience (experience in a school abroad is a plus) IBDP Spanish experience preferred.
- Successful experience teaching IB Spanish and recent training and/or experience in the current IB Spanish Language.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers and others.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for all learners.
- Ability to participate in and establish collaborative structures.
- Proven ability to develop successful academic programs.
- Willingness to collaborate regularly with colleagues in a positive, constructive manner.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning.
- Experience using Understanding by design to develop learning units.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Prepared by Office of Human Resource
- Experience working in an IB Diploma school.
- Experience as yearbook advisor
- Deliver lessons in accordance to International High School teaching standards and curriculum
- Prepare students for all the components of the IB diploma program Spanish course
- Keep student records and grades up to date
- Attend meetings as required by the Principal or Head of Department
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure cohesive delivery of the program
- Lead an Advisory group in High School
- Communicate with parents
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences
- Attend school functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with the entire school community (students, parents, and employees)
