**Responsibilities**:

- Writing and editing news stories for publication on the website.
- Coordinating with photographers, videographers, producers, and other staff members to ensure that they have all of the information they need to create their content
- Meeting regularly with the station manager to discuss the progress of current projects and ideas for new projects
- Conducting research to develop story ideas or angles on existing stories
- Reviewing and editing articles written by reporters to ensure that they are properly formatted and factually accurate
- Conducting research to identify potential story ideas for the station, such as local events or issues that may not be covered by other news outlets

**Qualifications / Skills**:

- Strong editorial background and proofreading skills
- Experience adhering to editorial and technical style guides
- Oral and written communication
- Comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contact
- Able to exert indirect authority to deliver results
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Media or related field
- 1+ years demonstrated excellence in content creation or editing, including online publishing

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
