We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pre-Registration Coordinator to join our healthcare solution team. The Pre-Registration Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the pre-registration process for patients, ensuring accurate collection of demographic and insurance information prior to their appointments or admissions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accuracy and completeness of information prior to appointments or admissions.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, insurance details, and any relevant communications in the electronic health records (EHR) system and other databases.
- Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare providers, registration staff, and insurance companies to address any issues or discrepancies in patient information and insurance coverage.
- Education: Provide patients with information regarding their insurance coverage, out-of-pocket expenses, and any pre-authorization requirements to ensure they are well-informed prior to their appointments or admissions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA).
- Problem Resolution: Address patient inquiries, concerns, and issues related to pre-registration processes in a timely and professional manner.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of pre-registration data to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient information.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline pre-registration workflows and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient registration, or insurance verification preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service to patients and other stakeholders.
- Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other healthcare compliance requirements.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
