Job Description: Data Entry Intern - Design Database (Textile Industry)

**Role Overview**:
As a Data Entry Intern at Verve Textile, your main responsibility will be to assist the design and operations teams in digitizing and organizing our têxtile design files. You will upload and categorize design photographs, manage colorways, and ensure that all files are properly named and stored on our cloud system for easy access and reference. Attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our design database.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Upload high-quality photographs of têxtile designs to our cloud storage system (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, or other platforms).
- Organize design files into folders, ensuring each design has its corresponding colorways properly named and categorized.
- Ensure that each folder and file is correctly labeled with the design name, colorway information, and any other relevant metadata (e.g., material type, designer, collection name).
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all uploaded images are accurate and meet the required naming conventions and specifications.
- Collaborate with the design team to gather any missing information or clarifications about design details.
- Organize and maintain the database to ensure easy navigation and quick access to design files.
- Provide support to the team in retrieving or sharing design files as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of design reports or summaries when required.
- Contribute to improving data entry and organization processes.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with cloud storage systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) and file organization.
- Attention to detail and the ability to name and categorize files systematically.
- Basic knowledge of têxtiles and design terminology is a plus.
- Familiarity with design tools or software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks.
- Comfortable with handling a high volume of data and photographs.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in data entry, file management, or digital asset management.
- Knowledge of têxtile design processes or color theory is a bonus.
- Experience working in the fashion or têxtile industry is a plus.
