computer operator's job is to maintain, monitor, and operate computer systems and networks to ensure they are working properly. Their responsibilities may include: Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing hardware, software, and network issues Security: Ensuring the security of computer systems and networks Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and preventive maintenance, such as installing antivirus software Updates: Installing software updates and patches Backups: Performing daily backups and data recovery Documentation: Maintaining logs and documentation of system operations, issues, and resolutions User support: Answering user questions and troubleshooting problems Inventory: Maintaining computer equipment and inventory Collaboration: Working with the IT team to resolve system problems and coordinate testing environments Training: Assisting in training and instruction of junior staff Computer operators may also be responsible for preparing computers for program processing, recording time and equipment utilization, and maintaining a magnetic tape library. Education and training requirements for computer operators may include a secondary school diploma or GED, and an associate's degree in computer science or a related field. Some employers may accept people with secondary school diplomas who have taken typing or data entry courses

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
