We in Zero Trust Security Group, develop and maintain cutting-edge security solutions for Akamai's enterprise customers. We collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, product, support, and sales engineering teams. Our objective is to enable business to deliver top-tier secure products. As a Principal SDET, you'll develop and maintain test infrastructure, and execute test suites on different environments. Ensuring the quality of our cloud services, with a focus on FedRAMP/FISMA standards. You'll work on top-notch network security projects. Also, work with highly skilled colleagues, embracing challenges in an exciting and dynamic learning environment.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Principal, you will be responsible for:

- Managing automated test deployment, update and execution for cloud and air-gapped environments
- Ensuring security compliance across all environments (e.g., FedRAMP, DISA STIGs)
- Using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm to provision and configure Kubernetes clusters
- Develop automation frameworks for backend and agent interactions
- Optimizing performance and reliability of cloud-based and air-gapped systems
- Troubleshooting and resolve issues in Kubernetes clusters, agents, and backend services
