**RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS**

- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
- Effectively facilitate the sprint ceremonies such as planning, backlog grooming, retrospective meetings, review meetings and daily scrum to consistently achieve the sprint goals.
- Make the team self-managed and facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
- Work with product owners to manage product backlogs and new change requests.
- Collaborate with product owners and development team to collectively define the team's work and make sure the development team understand the sprint backlog.
- Protect the scrum team from external distractions, mediate team conflicts, remove impediments and make the team focused on the sprint backlog and project timeline.
- Identify, control and solve project risks through negotiation or escalation.
- Ensure that sprint deliverables are adhering to the quality and timeline.
- Help build a productive environment where team members take ownership of the product and its development.
- Radiate information regarding the sprint progress and product roadmap to the team and stakeholders utilizing key agile metrics.

**Key skills & experience**:

- 8 to 10 years of strong experience in Agile Software Development Processes.
- Extensive understanding of agile methodologies such as scrum and adherence to core agile values and principles gained through working as a scrum master.
- Strong communications, leadership and risk management skills and ability to predict risks, as well as anticipating and proactively preparing for changes that impact clients’ businesses.
- Hands-on experience to implement and optimize processes in JIRA or any similar tools.
- Experience in defining and reporting on metrics to measure product value, velocity etc.
- A Scrum Master certification
