As a Lead Software Engineer Salesforce Java Apex at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Bank Connected Commerce Technology you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted market leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives
Job responsibilities
Executes creative software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Develops secure high quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors startups and internal teams to drive outcomes oriented probing of architectural designs technical credentials and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading edge technologies
Sets up customizes and develops Salesforce com and related app implementations drawing on relevant experience and understanding of best practices surrounding Salesforce platform
Ensures the platform is run as intelligently and efficiently as possible through continuous improvement periodic code reviews analysis of platform governor limits

Acts as a coach guide to junior engineers and fosters a culture promoting technical growth respect between team members empowerment continuous innovation and fun
Required qualifications capabilities and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 plus years of applied experienceDemonstrated experience working on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud Marketing Cloud implementations in a multi org structure and hands on Salesforce Administration experience supporting a large Salesforce deployment organization Current Salesforce Administrator Certified Advanced Administrator certified and Platform App Builder certified or possessing applied experienceAbility to recommend direct and implement best practices on the Salesforce platform
Demonstrated working understanding of Salesforce software with ability to administer fields
and relationships workflow rules approval processes page layouts security and validation
