Tax Associate

The Tax Associate is responsible for utilizing his or her educational background as well as communication and organizational skills by assisting with the preparation of tax returns and research. In this role, the Tax Associate will work with corporations, partnerships, and individuals with multi-state filings, providing the opportunity to develop strong technical skills and relationships with staff and clients.
- Gain an understanding and assist in planning multiple tax assignments in Real Estate and other industries.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, Trusts and individuals.
- Participate in client assignments from beginning to end.
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of firm personnel to increase client satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships.
- Provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs.
- Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or other relevant field required.
- Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
**Experience**
At least One (1) years of prior experience.
Experience with partnerships, s-corporations and individuals required.
**Software**
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Proficiency in all tax compliance process software including GoFileRoom, GoSystemRS, CCH Axcess Tax preferred.
**Other Knowledge, Skills Abilities**
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to follow instructions as directed by members of Tax Team.
- Able to prepare simple tax returns.
- Takes appropriate actions without being asked.
- Seeks advice of appropriate superiors regarding issues, problems related to compliance.
- Assists other team members.
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

- Navrangpura, Ahmedabad - 380009, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
