Key Responsibilities:

- **Troubleshooting**:Diagnosing electrical problems using testing devices and technical knowledge.
- **Repair and Maintenance**:Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, lighting, fixtures, and other electrical components.
- **Installation**:Installing new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to blueprints and safety codes.
- **Safety Compliance**:Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- **Documentation**:Maintaining records of work completed, materials used, and any necessary safety inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- **Electrical Expertise**: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- **Troubleshooting Skills**: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems effectively.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Experience with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate clearly with clients and other team members.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.
- **Valid electrician license**: Required for most on-call electrician positions.
- **Relevant experience**: Depending on the specific role, experience with residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems may be required.
- **Blueprint reading**: Ability to understand and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
- **Attention to detail**: Ability to ensure all work is completed accurately and safely.
