**Job Purpose**

This Role is responsible for delivering upgrades, consolidation, transformation, integrations, introduction of new technology in Charging domain. The role must have in depth understanding of data charging & policy management in addition to legacy charging services. Role will additionally be responsible to Conceptualize, design and deliver Charging solutions which results in incremental revenue & improved customer experience. This role is expected to liaise with business and technology teams for capturing business requirements and creating solution documents

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**

Application Management & Business Initiatives
- Finalize product requirements with business teams for new initiatives & create implementation guidelines for Tech teams
- Evaluate available features and solution options to deliver business use cases and assess need of change requests wherever necessary
- Guide and ensure harmonized implementation of designed products across circles within agreed TAT
- Finalize Business requirements, create solution design & conclude technical scoping for change requests, delivery timeline negotiation, prioritization with vendors
- Optimization of live products & solutions

Transformations and Consolidations
- Drive consolidation, integration projects, migration strategy, solution design & evaluation for Charging System
- Finalize high level approach, cost benefit analysis and transform them into decision points for management
- Interact with different vendors to compare platform features, capabilities, interfaces and roadmaps
- Finalize scope, architecture, solution documents including call flows, interfaces and redundancies
- Manage cross functional stake holders, define migration strategy, action plans, priorities basis impacts across ecosystem
- Drive and supervise implementation team in execution, track timelines and mitigate potential road blocks

New Technology Advancement
- Identify opportunities to implement new technologies in charging ecosystem
- New technology deployments may involve POC, pilots, RFI-RFP closure, technical evaluations, BoQ and SoW finalisation along with cross functional teams including vendors
- Manage stake holders across functions to finalize deliverables, timelines and drive focus
- Review delivery progress, mitigate risks and drive implementation within timelines to meet strategic objectives like cost saving, architectural revamp, operational efficiency

Program, product & operations Management
- Manage and lead projects independently in the area of change requests implementation, capacity augmentation, consolidation etc.
- Stakeholder management to ensure prioritization & conflict, risk management for deliverables.
- Manage & Work with the partners involved in the project lifecycle & ensure seamless collaboration
- Partner governance to ensure timely delivery and quality output for platform and services rollout, Demand delivery, Escalation handling and Roadmap review
- Extensive project implementation experience w.r.t new solutions delivery that includes designing, requirement preparation, project scoping, budget estimation,finalization of technical & functional specification along with resource management
- Manage & review with L3 team for issues/severities reported and for pending fixes.
- SME support to business teams for new product feasibilities & rollouts

IT-3PP-Core Integration Management
- Detailed understanding of interfaces between charging system & Core, PCRF, DRA, STP etc.
- The role should have necessary Experience in managing major transformation projects in charging domain -i.e. Swaps, Data charging introduction, New technology introduction - 3G, 4G, VoLTE, PCRF interfaces & evolutions, Major upgrades, Subscriber migrations etc.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- At least 10-15 years of experience with telecom with minimum 9-10 years of online charging experience
- Strong knowledge on Ericsson Charging System Architecture and functionalities, Experience of IN Service creation, Adjunct data charging experience and Amdocs IN understanding will be added advantage
- Ability to translate strategy into commercially viable solutions and convert business requirements into technical solutions
- Understanding of Prepaid Customer life cycle processes, IN/HLR Provisioning, Recharge platforms etc.
- Experience in Transformation & Integration projects
- Experience in project management with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal & presentation skills with vast experience of execution & vendor management
- Should have understanding on DB Planning, OPEX ,CAPEX ordering, PR/PO Tracking, BOQ agree
