Job Description:
Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases, 19c/12c DB tiers.
- Proactively monitor the system and address issues before they lead to system performance and negative business impact.
- Proactively monitor the system to ensure services with minimum downtime.
- Cloning test, development and UAT instances with latest production backup.
- Patching, and implementation of additional components.
- Concurrent Manager monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Raising SRs with Oracle when required.
- Improvement and maintenance of the databases and upgrades.
- Management and maintenance of backups and recovery procedures.
- Disaster recovery data guard physical standby database.
- Technical support to functional team for their oracle Service requests.
- Linux Working experience.
- Good Knowledge of SQL/ PLSQL and store procedures.
- Good to have: Understanding of other databases like MS-SQL, MySQL
- Flexible to work after office hours for urgent Dba task.
- Creation and review of DMLDDL scripts, advanced SQL, performance tuning optimization of SQL queries, and understanding trade-offs of indices.
- Compression, partitioning, in-memory usage, backup, migration and restoration of schema tables clusters.
- User access reviews, security, and data encryption.

- Santacruz - West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
