Role and Responsibility:

- Backup administrator performs daily operations for backups and replication on local/cloud for the legacy tools, recover and archive data.
- Supporting and troubleshooting backup, recovery and archiving in a large, complex and widely distributed environment.
- Provide status and progress reports for backup environment related activities and tasks on regular/periodic basis.
- Plan and implement best practices for backup solutions.
- Exposure on tools like : Veeam, Acronis, Storage Craft, Datto etc.
- Proactive measures to ensure adequate storage capacity is available.
- Create and update documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing, and applicable project artifacts.
- Provide technical expertise through discussions and demonstrations. Exposure with Image/ Disc Backups, snapshot backups.
- SLA adherence and attainment.

- Anyone with understanding of backups
- Familiarity with these tools is an added advantage: Veeam, Acronis
