Fabricator/welder

**Reading and interpreting drawings**:Accurately interpreting technical drawings to understand the required dimensions, specifications, and assembly procedures of a metal structure.
- **Material preparation**:Cutting, grinding, and preparing metal pieces to size using various cutting tools like shears, saws, and plasma cutters.
- **Metal forming**:Bending and shaping metal components using machinery like press brakes or hand tools to achieve the desired geometry.
- **Welding operations**:Utilizing different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding) to join metal pieces together, ensuring proper penetration and bead quality.
- **Quality control**:Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring proper fitment, and performing necessary quality checks to meet project standards.
- **Assembly and fitting**:Aligning and assembling fabricated components into the final structure, making adjustments as necessary.
- **Finishing work**:Grinding, sanding, and cleaning welded joints to achieve a smooth finish.
- **Equipment maintenance**:Regularly checking and maintaining welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.

Required skills and qualifications:

- **Technical skills**:Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.), ability to read blueprints, knowledge of metal fabrication processes, and experience with hand and power tools.
- **Physical abilities**:Manual dexterity, ability to lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- **Safety awareness**:Understanding and following safety procedures related to welding and metal fabrication.
- **Attention to detail**:Ensuring accuracy in measurements, cuts, and welding to produce high-quality components.
- **Problem-solving skills**:Identifying and resolving issues during fabrication and welding processes.

Work environments:Manufacturing facilities, Metal fabrication shops, and Construction sites (depending on project).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
