Here are some responsibilities of a fashion designer: Researching trends Fashion designers research current trends to determine what consumers will like. Creating designs Fashion designers create designs by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Selecting fabrics Fashion designers select fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design. Overseeing production Fashion designers oversee the production of designs, including fittings, determining prices, and managing marketing. Maintaining relationships Fashion designers maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and models. Here are some responsibilities of a store manager: Managing staff: Store managers manage and motivate staff. Ensuring sales targets: Store managers ensure sales targets are met. Overseeing deliveries: Store managers oversee deliveries. Processing information: Store managers process information and merchandise through the register and ISP system. Communicating: Store managers communicate with associates and customers. Operating equipment: Store managers operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store.
