**Associate Information Scientist**

**Why are we hiring a Associate Information Scientist?**

As part of the Outsourcing Services team, this role is responsible for the following tasks for preclinical data in support of SEND Conversions and Warehousing datasets:

- Reviewing, extracting, formatting client data
- Learning to convert nonclinical data into SEND standard compliant datasets
- Learning to convert legacy datasets for warehousing

**What are you responsible for?**
- Develop an understanding of preclinical data
- Develop an understanding of SEND and other regulatory standards/guidance
- Perform reviews of preclinical data converted into SEND or Warehousing datasets
- Perform extraction, reformatting, or other support work to assist with SEND Conversion activities
- Learn to perform conversion of non-clinical data into SEND Datasets using in-house tools
- Learn to perform conversion of non-clinical data into Warehousing datasets using in-house tools
- Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science (or similar field) or IT, or previous experience may substitute for education
- Educational or professional experience in a Life Sciences/Pre-Clinical environment or IT with an appreciation for complex data
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- It is expected that following training mínimal support will be required for review, extraction and formatting tasks
- It is expected that a high level of support will be required for converting pre-clinical data
