Electricity Board, Electrical Inspectorate, Electrical Licensing Board, Vendors, Electrical Contractors

**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Maintenance : prepare plans for electrical preventive maintenance and spares procurement.
- New technology : develop technology and suppliers for new equipment; develop designs and electronic instruments; analyze feasibility of technology initiatives.
- Energy management: monitor energy consumed by motors and take action to conserve energy, waste heat recovery system and fuel savings in order to ensure efficient operations of plant and machinery.
- Cost: adherence to defined M & R expenditure budget.
- Periodically review license status for calibration requirements, statutory needs of electricity board, electrical inspectorate, inspector of factories - pressure vessels and lifting tackles. Arrange for inspections in order to ensure safe working conditions in the factory.
- Documentation: records maintaining and documentation and audits.
- Safety : monitor electrical safety aspects inside the factory, particularly electrical installations.
- Annual budgeting (operations)
- review current year expenses on power and fuel consumption data, maintenance and repair cost and prepare budget for next year.
- Scrap/ waste management -assess machine condition and availability of spares; take decision on selling; coordinate for disposal.
- Cross functional initiatives.

**Desired Competencies**

Knowledge about Automation in Biscuit oven and manpower handling;, PLC with Automation, Drives, HMI, Motors, Packing MC, Printing MC, HT & LT Line, Breaker, transformer, VCB,DG, Auto operation of DG sets, Electrical Drawings, Statutory Regulations (electricity).

**Education Qualification**

Diploma/B.E. with Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation

**Experience (in years)**

Diploma - 6 to 8 Years

BE - 4 to 6 Years
