Financial Analysis Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will become a valued and integral member within the India MCAPS finance team (Business finance, Stat & Tax controllership, Controls & Compliance). You will work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business, such as tracking spend across projects, compliance reports, due diligence reviews, automate reports or build dashboards or creating internal tools or databases, liaise with AP team/other stakeholders in extended finance as needed. Your manager will work with you to ensure your projects are meaningful and relevant based on your interests and development needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on projects that directly impact the business.
- Serve as the first point of contact for questions related to close coordination, expenses, compliance with tax, statutory, and accounting regulations, filing requirements, etc
- Supports questions regarding documentation, policy adherence, and sharing of financial data and information
- Interact directly with India Finance team members, who will serve as dedicated coaches.
- Participate in team events held by the India Finance team.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Accounting***:Knowledge of general accounting principles and current organizational policies and procedures. This includes knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budget and forecasting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable**.**
- ** Financial **Reporting***:Knowledge of accounting principles generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and local financial and accounting regulations This includes the ability to recognize when compliance issues occur.
- ** Internal Controls**:Knowledge of internal control processes. This includes the ability to ensure controls exist to monitor that transactions are recorded, and proper checks and balances are in place, to identify areas where controls are not functioning, and to make recommendations to improve controls over the process.
- ** Detail Oriented**:The ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents, on the computer, and/or in other work products. This includes being able to code, file, compile, transcribe, classify, and/or track details from a variety of different sources/problems/issues.
- ** Strong Oral and Written communication**

**Required/minimum qualifications**:CA Intermediate completion; Minimum 12 months of articleship period remaining to be completed

**Additional** or preferred **qualifications***:Proficiency in MS Office suite
