**Position Title: Medical Auditor**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with health care standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Review Patient's Medical Records, to identify and correct errors in documentation, ensuring that all information is correct and being supported by the info provided by authorized Medical professional
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
- Provide feedback and training to health care providers and QA team to improve accuracy and compliance in their documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of audits, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare reports on audit outcomes and trends.
- Work closely with the coding team, management, and other stakeholders to address coding issues and implement improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest guidelines, industry standards, and regulatory changes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in health information management, healthcare administration, or a related field. BHMS, BAMS, BPT, MPT preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in medical QA/auditing role.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, human anatomy, diseases, diagnostic methods, and related concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Proficient in using coding software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications in auditing are a plus.
