**Responsibilities**:
**Culinary Expertise**:Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, International cuisine, and Indo Chinese food.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse ingredients and cooking techniques.

**Menu Planning**:Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan balanced and appealing menus.
- Ensure variety and nutritional value in daily meal offerings.

**Quality Control**:Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Conduct regular checks on ingredients and ensure freshness.

**Kitchen Operations**:Efficiently manage kitchen resources and maintain an organized workspace.
- Monitor and manage inventory to avoid shortages or wastage.

**Adaptability**:Adjust recipes and portion sizes according to the number of hostel residents.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.

**Team Collaboration**:Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen assistants as needed.

**Requirements**:
**Culinary Skills**:Proven experience in cooking South Indian, International, and Indo Chinese dishes.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.

**Flexibility**:Ability to adapt to different dietary requirements and preferences.
- Willingness to learn and incorporate new recipes.
