UX Researcher

**Description**
- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.
- Specific accountabilities:

- 1. Customer discovery & viability
- Understand stakeholders needs and requests for UX research activities regarding a product / project Set up research objectives with PM and help them to define project approach and user experience strategy.
- Define the UX research scope and applicable methods.
- Involve the project/product team (PM, PO, UX Designers, DEV) by organizing UX research kick-off and follow-up meetings.
- Identify the target users to define the participants to involve in the research and define the number of participants.
- Lead the recruitment process by contacting users or outsourcing. Make sure the users are relevant for the research.
- Plan the research protocol and schedule the sessions.
- Communicate and check participant agreements with legal aspect of the research (NDA, audio, and video recordings...)
- Plan, build, conduct, analyse qualitative research (Contextual and individual interviews, focus groups, field research (e.g., shadowing, observation, task analysis...), and quantitative research (Surveys, analytics...)
- 2. Product strategy
- Analyse and synthesise research finding.
- Create personas.
- Mapping experiences using customers journeys, experience map, ecosystem maps, stakeholders' maps...
- Document research findings (Report and/or research repository)
- 3. Iterative development
- Analyse and refine product / project stakeholders' UX research related requests and need.
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
- Facilitate ideation sessions with project/product team to share UX findings in the design process.
- Plan, build, conduct, and analyse user experience research and testing feedback through media such as participatory design, card sorting, mock-up walkthroughs, prototype user testing, qualitative and quantitative A/B testing interviews...
- Based on research findings, work with designers to suggest directions for the UI (Information architecture, user interaction model, workflow and consistency)
- Curious about the different ways people interact amongst themselves and with the technology.
- Develop UX research processes, methods, tools, and frameworks.
- Draw and document best practices and processes to create standards.
- Contribute to the development of a creative research practice across Amadeus.
- 4. Measure & scale
- Track user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics.

**Job Requirements**
- . Domain expertise
- Relevant experience in UX research
- Experience within industry and knowledge is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and experience in both qualitative and quantitative UX research methods
- Experience in adopting a wide range of research approaches & tools, including non-conventional research methods with target users that are challenging to recruit.
- Experience accessibility principles/guidelines when researching is considered a plus.
- Experience in atomic research is considered a plus.

- Solid knowledge and experience with Agile software development (Especially SAFe)
