**Proofreader**

**Description**

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality pieces that are error free and appeal to our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Thoroughly review and edit a variety of written content, including articles, marketing materials, and other documents to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax.
- Proofread and edit posts before publication. Verify facts, data, and references cited within the content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Cross-check content against established style guides and brand guidelines to maintain uniformity in tone, language, and formatting.
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to address any content discrepancies and suggest improvements for clarity and coherence.
- Review layout and design elements to ensure text, images, and graphics are properly aligned and formatted.
- Assist in fact-checking and research to validate information and ensure content integrity.
- Stay updated with industry standards and language trends to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of content.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A critical eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in written content.
- Proven work experience as a Proof-reader, Editor, or similar role, showcasing excellent attention to detail and a strong grasp of grammar and language rules.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioraitize tasks, and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
- Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of the company, brand, and product preferred
- Familiarity with keyword placement with good knowledge on SEO, SEM & SMO concepts.
- A passion for ensuring the accuracy and clarity of written materials.
