**Job Title**: Electrical Maintenance Technician

**Experience Required**: Minimum 2 years in Electrical Maintenance in a Steel Plant or similar industry

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Electrical System Maintenance**: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in steel plant operations, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in plant equipment, machinery, and circuits to ensure mínimal downtime and efficient operations.
- **Inspection & Testing**: Conduct regular inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- **Repairs**: Identify, replace, and repair damaged components such as cables, transformers, electrical panels, and other electrical machinery parts.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Installation Support**: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems as required.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and reports on repairs and inspections.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other maintenance teams, production staff, and engineers to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems in the plant.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI certification in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field (Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a plus).
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a Steel Plant or similar industrial environment.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, switchgear, motors, and industrial electrical circuits.
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), motor control circuits, and variable frequency drives (VFD).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to electrical repairs and maintenance.
- **Safety Compliance**: Knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and hazard identification.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, climbing, and lifting.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
