As a social media intern, your roles and responsibilities may vary depending on the organization's size, industry, and specific needs. However, here are some common tasks and responsibilities that you might be expected to handle:
Content Creation: Creating engaging and relevant content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. This may involve writing copy, designing graphics, creating videos, or curating user-generated content.

Scheduling and Publishing: Using social media management tools to schedule and publish posts at strategic times to maximize reach and engagement.

Social Media Monitoring: Monitoring social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and responding to inquiries or engaging with the audience in a timely manner.

Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing social media data and metrics to track the performance of posts and campaigns. Preparing reports to provide insights into the effectiveness of social media efforts.

Social Media Trends Research: Staying up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to help the organization stay relevant and innovative.

Social Media Advertising: Assisting with paid social media campaigns, including creating ad content, targeting specific audiences, and monitoring ad performance.

Community Management: Fostering a positive online community by moderating comments and discussions, addressing customer feedback, and promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Influencer Outreach: Collaborating with influencers and managing influencer partnerships to amplify brand reach and engagement.

Content Curation: Finding and curating relevant and interesting content from other sources to share with the organization's followers.

Social Media Strategy Support: Assisting in developing and implementing social media strategies aligned with the organization's marketing and communication goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, public relations, and customer support to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.

Monitoring Competitors: Keeping an eye on competitors' social media activities and identifying opportunities for improvement or differentiation.

Crisis Management: Being prepared to handle potential social media crises and addressing negative feedback or reviews with professionalism and empathy.

Social Media Training: Supporting social media training initiatives for other employees or team members who may be involved in social media efforts.

Continuous Learning: Continuously educating yourself about social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute more effectively to the organization's social media presence.

**Salary**: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
