2. To assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care.

3. To provide healthcare advice through educating patients, care takers and

families. Responding to the doubts and questions raised by the patients in a clear

and understandable manner.

4. To ensure the smooth running of clinics/OPDs.

5. To carry out clinical nursing procedures and document in patient record.

6. To work collaboratively with other members of the health and social care

team.

7. To supervise other staff and students posted in OPD.

8. To contribute to the dissemination of good practice by participating in

teaching and learning

9. To adhere to Infection Control practices during handling patients.

10. To ensure regular check of Emergency drugs stored in OPD area and maintain

appropriate records.

11. To maintain OPD registers up to date.

12. Maintenance of Instrument & Equipment.

13. To participate in training programs to upgrade knowledge on good clinical

practices.

14. Coordination with other departments for the good flow of work.
