**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Sociology lessons for senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12).
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials in accordance with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussions, and debates to deepen student understanding of sociological concepts.
- Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school management to support student success.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Master’s degree in Sociology.
- **Professional Qualification**: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a Sociology teacher at the senior secondary level.
- **Skills Required**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective classroom management and discipline maintenance.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in teaching Sociology for CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
- Ability to mentor and guide students for academic excellence.
