We are seeking a talented Rigging Artist to join our team to rig and skin game characters for in-game and promotional animations for our mobile shooter game developed on Unity. The Rigging Artist will work collaboratively with technical artist, character artists, and developers to help create characters for smooth animations without deformations.

**Responsibilities**
- Create rigs for 3D characters and bots models using MAYA with a focus on the quality of distortions;
- Provide input in low poly character modelling to avoid deformations during animations.
- Work with technical artists to come up with ideas for animations like hair and clothing.
- Work closely with the character art team, technical artists and animators for a smooth pipeline from modelling, rigging, skinning and animations.
- Create rigs and skinning for weapon animations.

**Skills**
- 5+ years of experience in 3D game development, with a focus on in-game character rigging and skinning.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and animation software, such as Maya, or Blender.
- Experience of working on character customisation with different body parts, hair and cloths.
- Experience in shooter games or weapon rigs is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of traditional animation techniques and characters movement principles.
- Experience with mobile game development, particularly with optimizing game assets for performance and memory usage on mobile devices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Eligibility & Cultural Fit**
- Must be willing to relocate to Bangalore, India if you are based out of India.
