Your Focus

As an Auditor - Vendor Quality, you will be responsible for Corporate Quality, Supplier Audits in the APAC Region & other supplier quality activities.

The role is based in Chennai, India and will report to Manager, Global Vendor Quality Audit.

How You Will Contribute- Coordinate the supplier audit process in Asia Pacific with the Manager Global Vendor Quality Audit. It includes and not limited to assessing audit priorities, scheduling and performing supplier audits, preparing action plans & follow up, assessing risk to IFF, and circulating risk assessment reports to Global Procurement, Operations and Global Quality.- Assist Global Procurement in working with the vendor to reduce risk and improve vendor performance through utilization of the non-conformance information provided through notifications in SAP or Suppliers with poor rating- Manage duties as required by your Manager which may include auditing packaging and toller audits.- Assessing risk to IFF, complete audit reports and circulate reports.- Execute and complete tasks assigned by your direct manager.- Spend 50-60% of your time travelling to vendor locations to conduct the required audits.

Key Job Requirement- Master’s degree in Food technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biological Science or equivalent.- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Audits in a Multi-National Corporations or Large Corporations.- Good working knowledge of SAP / ETQ /SharePoint.- Hold Audit certification (FSSC, ISO etc).- Work with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Well versed with MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).- Ability to work independently & effectively across multi-functional teams and diverse cultures company wide.
