**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish findings in academic journals.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Seek funding opportunities and write grant proposals.
- Engage in professional development and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the academic community through service and outreach.

**Qualifications**:

- Specifically requires a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Statistics.
- **CSIR NET** Qualified
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and conduct research.
- **Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.**:

- Strong record of research and publication in statistics.
- A portfolio of published research articles may be desirable.
- Demonstrated potential for securing research funding
