**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Computer Operator** to join our team in the book publishing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or beginners to kick-start their careers. The role involves managing computer systems, ensuring smooth digital operations, and supporting the editorial, design, and production teams with basic data entry and technical tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor computer systems, printers, and related equipment to ensure seamless workflow.
- Manage the digital typesetting and formatting of manuscripts for publication.
- Input, update, and maintain databases for inventory, content, and metadata.
- Perform regular data backups and troubleshoot software or hardware issues.
- Assist with document editing, proofing, and file conversions as required.
- Support the team with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and other publication-related software.
- Collaborate with the design and editorial teams to ensure accurate and timely outputs.
- Generate reports on workflow and performance metrics.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of database management systems and digital publishing tools.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
