**Job Purpose**: The primary purpose of this role is to understand and collecting user requirement for the Resource module in Strategic Financial Resource Management area. This will involve working closely with the business and SMEs to understand & prioritize business requests, coordinate with the development team to provide estimate efforts, develop test plans & ensure timely delivery on committed items and to project manage all aspects of software development according to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). **Job Background/context**: Strategic Financial Resource Management (SFRM) is part of Citi’s strategic program to consolidate and manage all forward-looking financial data. The objectives of this multi-year program are to create a single strategic solution to collect plan and outlook financial data and act as golden source for consolidated forward-looking financials. **Key Responsibilities**: - Understanding Business Requirements provided by Business partners and to convert into functional requirements for the developers. - Ensure Test reports and PTS documentation is up to date. - Work closely with Cross Functional Teams e.g. Product Assurance, Business Office, Controls and Production Support. - Prepare handover documents, test plans, test reports and manage SIT with oversight of UAT - Manage Defects and Host defect prevention call - Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of how the development function integrates within overall business/technology to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry. - Ability to understand complex problems, analyze and provide solutions. - Owns success - Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions - Ability to build relationship with business and technology stakeholders. **Person Specification** **Knowledge/Experience**: - 6+ years of experience in software configuration management (SCM) process and Build & Release management. - Experience in using Version control systems like Bitbucket - Knowledge of build tools like MAVEN, Make and ANT - Knowledge of Openshift, Docker, Jenkins - Experience with XML, Shell & Python - Should be able to work closely with teams to ensure high quality and timely delivery of builds and releases. - Should have experience running SQL queries - Strong knowledge on source controller concepts like Branching, Merging and Tags. - Should be able to trouble shoot issues with build & deployment - Experience with creation of Docker image and deploying to openshift - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment. **Skills**: - Strong analytic skills. - Excellent communication and internal customer management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent facilitation skills. - Ability to build relationships at all levels. **Qualifications**: - B.E/B.Tech or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline. **Competencies**: - Strong work organization and prioritization capabilities. - Takes ownership and accountability for assigned work. - Ability to manage multiple activities. - Focused and determined in getting the job done right. - Ability to identify and manage key risks and issues. - Personal maturity and sense of responsibility. - Shows drive, integrity, sound judgment, adaptability, creativity, self-awareness and an ability to multitask and prioritize. - Sensitive to cultural and background differences and environments Confident and assertive. - Values diversity: Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce. - Appreciates differences in style or perspective. - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Applications Development - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
