**Responsibilities**:
**SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER**
- 10+ Experience in CAD flow development. Define and develop methodologies/processes to enable better utilization of CAD tools to improve design efficiency.
- Activities include problem analysis and methodology definition, followed by design, implementation, test, deployment, and technical support of the flows.
- Deploying methodologies, tools flows to the design team, creating and delivering effective documentation & training, and providing support.
- Experience in delivering executive Performance Power Area (PPA) goals across projects.
- Knowledge of cutting-edge technology node across foundries.
- Interact closely with design teams to mature the CAD solutions for production use.
- Automating design tasks in order to complete high quality product design solutions in the most efficient ways
- Strong fundamentals in Synthesis, Floor planning, Place clock and Route, Tech files
- Good understanding of Signoff Static Timing analysis, Power analysis and IR drop analysis flows
- Hands on experience with Synopsys and Cadence P&R tools, Timing tools, Floor planning, IR Drop and Physical verification
- Should have basic understanding of RTL
- Exposure to low power techniques and PPA analysis
- Knowledge of TCL /PERL / Python scripting is desired
