We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to join our finance team.

**Role Summary**: The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and compliance with UK accounting standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain financial accounts in compliance with UK accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Provide financial insights and support to management for decision-making.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in UK accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, XERO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
