As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer's IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.

- Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database.

- Knowledge on DB Security viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE would be added advantage.
- Sharp technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of support processes.
- Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans.
- Ability to spot proactive services that benefit of customer.
- Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support.
- Strong analytical skills.
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle Database as an DBA/Consultant/Support Engineer.
- BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
- Oracle OCP DBA / OCI / ADB Certification - Preferred.
- Some travel may be required (10-25%)

- In Depth Knowledge of RAC, GoldenGate, Data Guard, Oracle Advance Security and it’s troubleshooting methodologies.
- Designs, creates and maintains databases in a client/server environment.
- Works on more complex, larger and higher importance/impact databases and projects.
- Implement, enforce and adhere to Disaster Recovery plan for platforms
- Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune and maintain the Oracle databases
- Provide assistance to development teams with tuning database queries, reviewing and testing patches, configuration and code migrations. Develop purging, archiving, and cloning strategies,
- Provide 3rd and 4th level Oracle database support for complex issues.
- Participate on customer driven projects
- Provide technical Implementation Support for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.
- Help Customer to implement new Oracle database versions, features, tools, and technologies with an Enterprise perspective to meet customer needs while maintaining a secure database environment.
