Perfect Gears (Chennai) Pvt Ltd is a leader in innovative automotive industry, We are seeking a talented SAP Procurement Specialist to join our Store Department team. This role is critical in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring efficient inventory management through SAP solutions.

**Job Summary**:
The SAP Procurement Specialist in the Store Department will manage and enhance SAP systems related to procurement and inventory management. This role requires close collaboration with the procurement and store teams to ensure effective supply chain operations, accurate data management, and integration with other business functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**System Implementation and Maintenance**:

- Configure and manage SAP modules related to procurement and inventory management (e.g., MM - Materials Management).
- Perform regular system updates, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.

**Procurement Process Optimization**:

- Analyze and optimize procurement processes using SAP tools.
- Implement best practices for supplier management, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Develop and maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

**Supplier Management**:

- Maintain supplier databases and manage supplier relationships through SAP.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts.

**User Support and Training**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues in the Store Department.
- Train procurement and store personnel on SAP functionalities and best practices.
- Create and update documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guidelines.

**Integration and Coordination**:

- Work with other departments to ensure SAP systems are integrated and functioning seamlessly.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an SAP Specialist, specifically in procurement or inventory management.
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in SAP MM module and related technologies.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in SAP ERP systems, particularly in modules related to procurement and inventory management.
- Knowledge of database management and system integration.
- Familiarity with ABAP programming is an advantage.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
