**Role Description**:
The scope of work includes the installation, demonstration, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities related to e mobility courses. This is a hands-on role which will have the Laboratory Technician working closely with faculty and students in laboratories and workshops. The Lab Technician sets up the lab in preparation for experiments and maintains supplies and documentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of labs and maintain the lab equipment.
- Support students and faculty in using machines, tools and equipment within the laboratory.
- Support faculty and students in the resourcing and implementation phase of student projects, as required.
- Create lab manuals, health and safety instructions and all other required manuals and instructions relevant to the discipline.
- Maintain a schedule of preventative maintenance for all equipment and keep adequate manuals and maintenance logs for equipment and parts.
- Provide teaching assistance to Faculty during workshops, laboratory and tutorial sessions.
- Perform teaching duties in his/her field or a closely related field as required.
- Demonstrate the use of machines, tools and equipment within the lab.
- Practical workshop skills, as evident by knowledge of instruments and devices, relevant devices used within the laboratory, and other workshop tools and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems is desirable.

**Role Requirements**:

- B.E/ B.Tech/Diploma in electrical and electronics/electronics and communication.
- Academia/industry experience of 2-3 years.
- Experience in the particulars of the elements of power electronics; power diodes, TRIACs, DIACs, SCRs, etc.
- Familiarity with MATLAB or any circuit simulation tool.
- Experience in handling laboratories like power electronics, analog and digital electronics, and Control systems, electrical machines,etc.,
- Ability to possess strong interest in activity/project-based learning pedagogy.

**Good to have**

Knowledge about EV electronics and controllers.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
