Roles & responsibilities
- To look for domestic & international jewelry suppliers who can ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining the quality standards

Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships

Ensure that timely cost revision & negotiations are done with suppliers

Explore alternate sources for existing goods to ensure we never go out of stock

Deliver a weekly purchase order report to management that indicates the required order details for all closed purchase orders & updates on delayed orders if any

Work with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders

Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance, and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement

Identify the needs and implement the required processes to ensure smooth functioning of buying with scale

Manage the team of buyers to ensure efficient on-time buying throughout

Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact

Reconcile weekly counts - expected & physically received inventory & analyze variances for root cause, if needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Experience of 4+ years in domestic & international buying/supply chain

Should have good experience in managing strategic projects

Good understanding of logistics (domestic and international)

Good computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).

Data-driven approach, ensure all the KPIs are meeting targets

Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Should be able to execute the tasks on hand & also should be able to manage the team
