As a counter sales associate specializing in diamonds, you will be the face of our company to customers seeking diamond products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service assist customers in selecting the right diamond products and facilitate sales transactions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

**Responsibilities**

1. **Customer assistance and product recommendation**:

- Great customers as they enter the store and assess them in selecting a diamond product based on their preferences and budget.
- Provide product information, including diamond quality, cut, clarity and carat weight to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Offer recommendations and suggestions to customers based on their needs and requirements.

2. **Sales and transaction processing**:

- Engage customers in sales conversations to understand their requirements and guide them through the purchasing process.
- Present and demonstrate diamond products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and issuing receipts.

3. **Customer relationship management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Follow up with customers after their purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries and feedback for future reference.

4. **Inventory Management and Merchandising**:

- Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving, stocking and organizing diamond products.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist in identifying discrepancies.

5. **Product knowledge and training**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, diamond grading standards and product offerings through training and self-study.
- Share product knowledge with customers and colleagues to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to improve sales techniques and customer service skills.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods industry.
- Knowledge of diamonds, including grading standards, characteristics and pricing factors.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic mathematic skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sales transactions and inventory management.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
