**Description**:
SiMa.ai is looking for a Software Application Intern Engineer to join our leading machine learning software and semiconductor company to work with the Business and System Applications team. You will be working with leading-edge ML technologies, contributing to benchmarking, new models and framework support, simulation and performance analysis for customer networks/workloads to the SiMa.ai ML accelerator, bashing customer facing products/tools and review of documentation

**Roles and responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:

- Contributing to SiMa.ai’s ML IP simulation platform and utilities
- Run and analyze ML workloads on existing popular frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Run competitive benchmark and provide analysis of results
- Work with System Architects and Application Engineering to understand customer workloads and ML algorithms to provide analysis
- Enhance and Support regressions framework for continuous analysis of customer models.

**Desired background, qualifications, and skills**
- Bachelor's degree or pursuing Masters degree in Electronics/Computer engineering,
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python/C/C++ through internship/projects/courses
- Exposure/Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Exposure to procedural and object-oriented (OOD) computer programming languages and techniques
- Exposure/Experience with software development in a Linux environment
- Exposure/Experience working on Computer Vision Pipeline preferably end to end pipeline testing
- Self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Good communication skills, strong team player and be able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
