Role Description This full-time on-site role is for a Furniture Designer Intern at Rub-Le. The Furniture Designer Intern will be responsible for tasks such as furniture design, carpentry, interior design, and product design. The intern will work closely with the design team to develop and create new furniture designs and prototypes, assist in the manufacturing process, and contribute to the overall design and aesthetic of our furniture products. Qualifications Furniture Design and Product Design skills Carpentry skills Interior Design skills Attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks Strong creative and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Experience with furniture manufacturing or related field is a plus
