Job Responsibilities
'- Performs all necessary tasks to serve food & beverage according to the service standards and operating manuals of the hotel.
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all service equipment / materials.
- Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet/service areas.
- Responsible for getting stock for stores and maintaining hygienic standards in storage.
- Ensures minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage.
- Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after the service (mis-en-place and mis-en-scene).
'- Informs supervisor immediately on any operational and guest related matters.
- Pleasant interaction with guest and always ready with a smile to serve him.
- Adhere to all the Brand Standards - General Standards of Behaviour.
'- Learns service skills through observing and questioning other service employees in the outlet.
- Attends behavioral and vocational training in own and related work areas to enhance skill and develop multifunctionality.
- Attends cross training in Kitchen Stewarding, Kitchen and F&B related departments.
- Attends all training classes assigned with special attention to product knowledge.
- Seeks guidance and advice to develop skills / ability.
- Maintains cordial and professional relations with all hotel employees.
- Shows interest in and understanding for other departments’ processes.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all kitchen and stewarding staff.
'*Adheres to all departmental legal compliances and audit checklists as per the IHCL Safety Guidelines
'*Identify risks and develop HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
- Ensure adherence to HACCP systems, Critical Control Points, OPRPS and control measures in the FSMS systems are verified, documented and validated.
- Adheres to roles and responsibilities pertaining to safety as defined by the hotel from time to time as per the PCM (Progressive Consequence Management) SOP and IMBC (Incident Management and Business Continuity)
Job Requirements
To support the service team members by preparing & maintaining the outlet / station at all times and to assist in service to provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests in order to achieve high level of customer satisfaction and departmental profitability in an atmosphere of teamwork and high individual morale.
