Key Responsibilities:

- **Data Input**: Accurately entering information into designated systems, such as databases, spreadsheets, or other software.
- **Data Verification**: Reviewing entered data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies and correcting them to ensure data integrity.
- **Record Maintenance**: Keeping databases, files, and records up-to-date with new information, changes, and updates.
- **Data Extraction**: Retrieving specific data from databases or electronic files as needed.
- **Report Generation**: Creating and generating reports based on the data entered and maintained.
- **Document Management**: Organizing and managing both physical and digital documents, including scanning, filing, and archiving.
- **Clerical Tasks**: Performing general administrative tasks like monitoring office supplies, scanning documents, and printing.
- **Adherence to Procedures**: Following established data entry procedures and guidelines to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- **Confidentiality**: Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive data.

**Required Skills**:

- **Typing Speed and Accuracy**: The ability to type quickly and accurately is essential, with some employers specifying minimum typing speeds (e.g., 40 words per minute).
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for identifying and correcting errors.
- **Data Entry Software Proficiency**: Familiarity with data entry software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- **Organizational Skills**: The ability to organize and manage data effectively.
