**Roles and Responsibilities**
- To lead and direct the entire course of fabric sourcing for production and sampling.
- Negotiate with mills and fabric traders to get best cost and delivery lead times of fabric
- Suggest alternatives in fabric quality to ensure garment costing is met.
- Awareness and implementation of various requirements of different renowned customers in terms analysing fabric for basic physical properties and decide approval/rejection.
- Sourcing Fabric from different manufacturing sectors in India/Abroad, Coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries of the same.
- Potentially manage fabric sourcing across 100+ styles per month
- Degree in Textiles Science/Engineering/Technology with minimum 8 -12 years of experience in fabric development, sourcing, supply chain and delivery
- Costing and sourcing expert
- Extensive network of large têxtile mills
- Good understanding of knits and woven fabrications, chemical and mechanical finishes, 4-point inspection system, fabric costing, digital measurement of color and fundamentals of fabric manufacturing, dyeing, and finishing
- Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of all têxtiles, both knits and woven
- Able to travel for meeting with customer
- Excellent interpersonal skills & marketing skills

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
