**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly capable and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the
Compressed Biogas Project Site. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, equipment, and assets on-site, fire-safety as well as enforcing company policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive and vigilant individual who can effectively respond to potential security threats and maintain a secure environment for all stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Site Security**:

- Implement and enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to the project site.
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and patrols to deter potential security breaches.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying the identity of individuals entering the site.
- Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents and take appropriate actions as needed.

**Asset Protection**:

- Monitor the security of equipment, machinery, and other valuable assets on-site.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement measures that prevent theft, vandalism, and damage to assets.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all security measures are functioning effectively.

**Emergency Response**:

- Be prepared to respond to emergency situations such as fires, accidents, or medical incidents.
- Coordinate with emergency services and company leadership to manage crisis situations as required.
- Provide guidance to on-site personnel on emergency evacuation procedures.

**Surveillance and Reporting**:

- Maintain a high level of vigilance through continuous monitoring of CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems.
- Document and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate channels.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of security incidents, inspections, and activities.

**Security & Fire Training and Awareness**:

- Conduct security briefings for new employees and contractors to ensure their understanding of site security protocols.
- Foster a culture of security awareness among all personnel, encouraging them to report any security concerns promptly.
- Organise and take charge for fire safety drills at the site.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Graduate from reputed university
- Past experience in working for the Indian Army as JCO or Officer rank and above

( _**Priority to Ex-Indian Army/Navy/Air-Force)**_
- Fire & security trained with certification.
- Additional training or certifications in security management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related security role.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with security technology, such as CCTV systems and access control software and computer.
- Physical fitness and willingness to perform regular patrols and respond to incidents as needed.
- Understanding of safety and security regulations and procedures.
- Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Prior experience in industrial or project site security is desirable.

**Working Conditions**:
This position will require the Security Officer to work in outdoor environments, potentially during various weather conditions. The role may involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the project site.
