- **The Penetration Tester 4**What you will be doing**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the penetration team through building out the technical calendar of pentests to cover all company products in a prioritized manner
- Develop and execute complex penetration tests to exploit vulnerabilities in products of the highest complexity and scope
- Independently generate highly complex penetration test reports that are presented to leadership which list the vulnerabilities and vulnerability scores found
- Lead the review for vulnerability databases for company and third-party vulnerabilities and log information in JIRA for the use of developers
- Research new attack vectors and stay current with cybersecurity news and trends
- Train engineering teams in the most complex security testing techniques
- Lead the creation of policies processes and procedures for identifying software vulnerabilities
- To help ensure software security use presentations reports and conversations about the vulnerabilities identified in order to influence software developers and architects to update the software and mitigate those vulnerabilities
- Lead multiple external penetration testing engagements ensuring all PenTesters are assigned to their respective areas of expertise and that all true positives are remediated within the specified timeline
- Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
- Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
- Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

**What will make you successful**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of security principles
- Demonstrated competency reading navigating enterprise code and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to effectively communicate vulnerabilities and technical concepts to all levels
- Independently able to design and build a strategically aligned security program
- Ability to review current penetration tools and ensure the strategic program is updated with current methodologies.
- OSCP CEH GWAPT or similar security-related certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with others
- Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Demonstrated collaboration and teaching abilities
- Strong risk assessment ability
- Demonstrated ability in presenting and delivering training
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers about sensitive and high risk information
- Understanding of code to be able to communicate effectively with developers
- Up to 10% travel time required
