**Job Description: Fitter**

**Location**: Mulund (West)

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: 20,000 to 25,000 pm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine assembly procedures.
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces as per specifications.
- Assemble and fit metal parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fixtures.
- Align components for assembly and secure them in place using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Inspect completed assemblies and subassemblies to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Test assembled machinery and equipment to verify alignment and ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment during assembly or installation.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, such as lubricating parts, replacing filters, and adjusting belts.
- Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to resolve technical issues and improve product design.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
- Certification or training in fitting or a related field is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Vocational training or apprenticeship/ITI in mechanical fitting or a related field.
- Certification in welding or familiarity with welding processes.
- Prior experience with industrial machinery or equipment assembly.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
