**Responsibilities of a music/artist manager**:
Schedule tours and concerts,

Manage the exposure of artists to reach and grow their fan base

Manage upcoming Shows and Events

Negotiate with new artists and contract with them

Visit the cafe and meet with the Venue Manager

Communicate directly with the artist and then collaborate with business managers, responsibilities of a music/artist manager:
Travel to the Venue and arrange the said requirements

Schedule tours and concerts, book promotional appearances, oversee interviews, and manage the exposure of artists to reach and grow their fan base

Schedule and oversee recording time in the studio

Read and negotiate recording contracts

Communicate directly with the artist and then collaborate with business managers

Act as a liaison between music artists and music producers

Network and pitch artist demos to record companies and secure record deals

Plan and manage a budget for tours, promotion, and marketing

- **Below are the qualifications expected of a music manager**:
Bachelor’s degree program in merchandising, music marketing, music production, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An understanding of the music industry (promoting, booking, networking)

Ability to understand and negotiate contracts

A solid network of music industry professionals (promoters, producers, record labels, venue managers)

Experience in planning and managing budgets

High level of organisation

The ability to problem-solve and multitask

Act as a liaison between music artists and vendor
